Comes with an acumen of 27 years experience within the Fast Moving Consumer Goods sector that were acquired working with leading MNCs: SONY, ITG & ENERGIZER.
Carries a proven track record in developing purpose-led brands, driving consumer centric sales and leading management across various geographic regions: MEA, G.C.C & India.

 

Shamil Ahmed Jiffrey

Joined General Poultry Company on April’ 2004

A Sri-Lankan national with ACA, CMA and a B.Sc in Estate Management & Valuation, from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri-Lanka.
Comes with an acumen of 28 years of Accounting & Auditing experience of which 21 years were spent within the G.C.C and acquired working with leading accounting & consultancy organizations: Ernst & Young, KPMG & Grant Thornton.
Carries a proven track record with General Poultry Company after having rotated across multiple functions overseeing the commercial function, managing the accounting and financial function and leading as Acting General Manager.

A Bahraini National with a B.Sc. in Business Management from Kingdom University, Associated Diploma in Chemical Engineering from University of Bahrain and Diploma in Human Resources Management from Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, CIPD-level 5.
Comes with an acumen of 16 years experience in Human Capital Development within Insurance and Automobile sectors that were acquired working with Solidarity-Bahrain (Takaful Insurance) & Ebrahim K. Kanoo.
Carries a proven track record in developing Human Capital Departments, setting Policies and Procedures, managing Employee Relations and conducting Recruitment, Training & Development.

Comes with an acumen of 5 years experience with Layer Poultry that were acquired working with Rahima Poultry Farm- KSA & Government of Kerala Poultry Authority.
Carries a proven track record in Birds health sustainability, Dis-infection & Vaccination program implementation, Ventilation & Feeding management, Laboratory testing & sample collection, Food Safety & Quality Standards implementation.

PRAVEEN KALKANI

Sales & Distribution Manager

An Indian national with a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Praveen brings over 30 years of sales & distribution experience in FMCG, Telecom and DTH sectors. A highly seasoned sales professional, Praveen leverages his knowledge and excels in driving revenue growth, optimizing sales budgets, and delivering exceptional customer satisfaction. He has actively pursued professional development, completing programs like Leadership Skills Accelerator Training, Mini MBA from Telecom Academy, Finance course for Sales Budget Costing, Pricing and Cost Controls, and KAM management by Colgate.

A Bahraini national, Mohamed Abdulhadi holds a BS in Mechatronic Engineering from AMA University, Kingdom of Bahrain

Mohamed has 13 years of experience in Electrical & Instrument engineering with proven expertise in project maintenance and installation. He oversees maintenance activities at the farm and is responsible for facility maintenance and optimum efficiencies in equipment performance. Prior to joining General Poultry Company, Mohamed Abdulhadi was working with Midal Cables
