General Poultry Company (GPC) held its inaugural year end event for its team at the Gulf Hotel on 21 December 2021. Titled ‘Shaping the Future’ the event was attended by the Chairman, Board Directors, Leadership team and its employees over dinner at the GCC Terraces, Gulf Hotel, Bahrain.

The event was held to mark GPC’s highest ever production & sales of fresh Bahraini eggs since its inception in 1977. 2021 also marked the completion of the construction of the 8 modern farmhouses built to internationally recognized standards in poultry and egg production. The new farmhouses when operational in 2022 will see GPC more than double its annual production of nutritious quality Fresh Bahraini Eggs in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The GPC team was briefed on the Company’s production and sales plans for 2022 with a focus on meeting market demand for GPC’s Fresh Bahraini Eggs and enhancing customer service levels.

In appreciation of the outstanding contributions in 2021, staff members were awarded certificates of appreciation and gift vouchers by the Chairman and CEO. The evening was rounded off by dinner and corporate team building activities organized by GPCs training partner Q-Plus which is driving the JADEER program at GPC.
